SHAPING THE FUTURE OF OUR GROUP

FROM 1896

PIONNEER TO LEADER

Originating from the renowned Zodiac company, founded in 1896, it set a new standard in naval technology by launching the world’s first inflatable boats in 1934. This innovation revolutionized the deployment and use of boats, opening possibilities for military, rescue, and recreational activities. Zodiac’s boats, known for their portability and versatility, quickly dominated relevant market segments. Over the decades, Zodiac has continued to lead with innovative designs and materials, enhancing the durability and functionality of their boats.

FROM 1970

EXPANDING TO THE WORLD

In 1970, Zodiac expanded globally by establishing Zodiac of North America and, in 1983, Zodiac Australia. The company strengthened its marine industry position by acquiring Zodiac Hurricane Technologies in 1987, enhancing its capabilities. In 2000, Zodiac further broadened its horizons with the creation of its professional division.

FROM 2010

SCALING UP

In 2010, Zodiac Milpro introduced Hurricane Tenders, premium chase boats modeled after the distinguished Zodiac Hurricane. By 2021, our portfolio was further enriched through strategic acquisitions of Yachtwerft Meyer, a premier German luxury tender shipyard, and Vectis Marine Design, a foremost British marine consultancy. These acquisitions have significantly strengthened our presence in the European market.

FROM 2011

KEY MILESTONES

In 2011, we established the Zodiac Milpro brand, marking a significant milestone. By 2017, our strategic development continued with Argos Wityu consolidating our operations under the Zodiac Milpro Group, thereby enhancing our capabilities and reinforcing our commitment to excellence in the marine industry.

FROM 2022

DIGITAL & SUSTAINABILITY: A NEW ERA

In 2022, we introduced ORIA Marine, our state-of-the-art data-monitoring service that not only advances our technological capabilities but also supports our commitment to decarbonization in maritime operations. This initiative marks a pivotal movement towards a new digital era in maritime services. Complementing this advancement, our R&D team is actively working to enhance the efficiency of our boats and to conduct research into electric solutions for specific applications. These efforts are part of our ongoing strategy to innovate and provide sustainable, high-efficiency maritime solutions.
